Then, stay tuned for my review and a giveaway!!
Crave by Monica Murphy
Publication Date: August 6th, 2013
Genre: New Adult Contemporary
Synopsis:
Billionaire Archer Bancroft always gets what he wants—and he’s wanted Ivy Emerson, his best friend’s sister, for far too long. Being forbidden and untouchable only makes her more tempting. When a million-dollar bet with his friends throws down a challenge—last bachelor standing takes all—Archer knows he can win. That is, until one enchanted evening with Ivy takes his heart for a ride.

Ivy knows Archer is nothing but bad news: Infuriating, arrogant…and completely intoxicating. But despite her best efforts, she can’t seem to keep away. When a stolen kiss leads to a night of heated passion, Ivy realizes she’s in trouble and in head over heels.

But in the light of day, everything seems clearer and Archer’s not so sure a one-night stand is all he wants. Concocting a plan to keep Ivy by his side, Archer might just be willing to lose this bet…and win the jackpot instead.

10 Things Ivy wants you to know about Archer

Sometimes, I still can’t believe Archer and I are together. There are a lot of things about my man that drives me crazy. But there are also a lot of things I really love about Archer. Since that crazy woman who created us, Monica Murphy, asked me to divulge a few things that I want you to know about Archer, I’ve been thinking. Do you want to know his deep, dark secrets? Or just the silly stuff? Maybe the sweet stuff?

So I’m going to give you a mix of all three. Here we go:

1. Archer is incredibly sexy even when he’s not doing anything. He just stands there and I want to melt. He looks at me and I want to tear my clothes off. (I have no shame)

2. He’s super sweet and thoughtful. He may act like a blustering ass sometimes but he’s really not. Trust me.

3. Throw him a challenge and he’ll do whatever it takes to conquer it. Look at how he took the crappy hotel his father gave him and made it into one of the most successful hotel and resorts in the country. He’s rather determined.

4. Determined men are usually very skilled in bed. Just sayin’.

5. When Archer hangs out with my brother, it’s like they revert to when they were obnoxious teenagers. That’s usually my cue to leave them alone.

6. He’s really kind to my mom and she loves him so much. I think she wishes she could marry Archer. I feel sort of bad when the urge to yell, “Back off Mom!” takes over me so I try my best to ignore it.

7. He’s a slob. I think it’s because he’s also spoiled rotten and grew up with maids and stuff but yeah. He’s a complete slob.

8. By my admitting he’s a slob, I know he’s going to admit I snore and I want everyone to know it’s not that bad. He snores too, okay? (fine he doesn’t really snore. But he’s a bed hog. He sprawls people. Everywhere.)

9. His kisses render my mind completely blank. They’re that powerful. Maybe he should make them his super power or something.

10. I have never felt more cherished, more loved than when I’m with Archer. We may have had a bumpy road to get where we are now, but it was worth it. He is the perfect man for me. I’m the luckiest woman in the world, that I can call him mine.

This is me. Melting.

And now for my review:

My Thoughts:

Holy HAWT Billionaires, Batman!

If you’ve been around me at all (in real life, on my blog, on twitter, on facebook, etc. etc.) you will know that I love me some Karonica, aka Monica Murphy aka Karen Erickson. I badger, beg, and stalk her constantly because I just always need and want more.

So when I heard about this Billionaire Bachelors Club series, I nearly went apoplectic. ESPECIALLY when I heard that the first book involved the love story between a woman and her older brother’s best friend. Monica must’ve listened to my prayers, because I LOVE LOVE LOVE this theme. Never get tired of it. Never can read it too often.

THEN, throw in the main characters named Archer Bancroft and Ivy Emerson? Seriously. How awesome and sexy are these names? Monica, I may just come to you to choose my future children’s names.

Okay, so at this point, I haven’t even gotten my hands on this book, but I am in LUST with it. So, how did it stack up? Well, let’s just say my lusty feelings turned to love. Once again, Monica astounds me with her ability to craft words in such a beautiful, free flowing, yet impactful way. The chemistry and the tension, ranging from playful banter to all out flaming sexual attraction, leaps off the page, wraps around you, and sucks you in. Throw in dashes of humor and sweetness and you have me in a puddle of satisfied mush.
"Besides, I'm not asking you to wait for me naked in my bed every night, though the idea is appealing."

The arrogance dripping from his voice makes me want to hit something. Preferably him.

"Come on, I know you haven't forgotten how easy it was between us that night, Ivy," he murmurs, his voice low. Sexy.

Ugh.

My only qualm with the story was that it ended so quickly, and a bit abruptly. I NEED MORE!!! There is definitely resolution, so don’t be concerned with that! But I also feel that there is much more that can be told. Which, I suspect will come into play in book two of the series that centers around Ivy’s brother, Gage!(?) *Crossing fingers*

The Final Verdict:
Monica Murphy has succeeded, once again, to provide a wonderfully sexy and fun read that leaves you wanting more. Featuring engaging and exceedingly likable characters with enough chemistry to fuel a fire for months, Crave is perfectly titled both for the feelings of those within the book, and what I went through to get my hands on it:

crave (krv)
1. To have an intense desire for.
2. To need urgently; require.
3. To beg earnestly for; implore.

Trust me, pick up this book and pre-order the rest of the series. Your craving will be deliciously sated.
